So I have searched the internet for some people giving tips, but there weren't a lot of things to find.
So here are my tips I learned from watching other people who I thought looked stunning, and it looked like they put a lot of effort in their look, but it was just their signature look.
So here we go:
The clothes:
This is the most important step because from here, we built the rest of our look.I have 2 options for this look;
All black:
My tip is when you go in 1 color: is a skinny jeans and a looser top. So that it "breaks" the look. Audrey Hepburn was one of these icons that really pulled off this all black look and she looked so sophisticated!
Pop of color:
The accessories:
When you use accessories, you trick people, it looks like you had the time to pick out certain items with care.
Earings:
Little earings with diamons or pearls. It makes you look sophisticated. Big earings tend to look "cheap' even when they are expensive.
Necklace:
For the necklace we have 2 options: the bigger, the better: or the so called Statement Necklace or a little thin necklace matchin your earrings.
The statement necklace:
Or the smaller necklace:
Watch/bracelet:
I would say wear a watch, it makes you look professional. But I often forget this. :)
I always wear a little bracelet too, but you can skip this when you are already wearing the watch.
The hair:
For the hair: you can straighten or curl it, if you have time, but otherwise: get your hair out of your face. The fast options:
High ponytail
Low ponytail with middle part:
The face:
Choose neutral make-up. I prefer to have my eyes be the center of attention, some people choose to have their lips. So choose wisely. The shoes:
High heels:
Black! It goes with everything. I prefer a pointy toe, because it looks more elegant.
Flats:
Go for black flats with a little detail that makes them more special. The jacket:
In not-so-cold weather:
Leather jacket, do I need to say more?
Cold weather:
Do it like Kim K, she rocks the long coats:
